WikiWOOD:Maintenance templates

Maintenance templates are special templates that are inserted into articles that need help or attention in some way. Links to these templates can then be searched and used to compile lists of pages needing attention. Some templates also add pages to special categories (this is a work in progress) which makes it even easier to find them.
The community portal How You Can Help area is an example of how these lists can be useful. Contributors who wish to support wikiWOOD by cleaning up or expanding existing articles can easily find a way to help out.
To insert a maintenance template on a page, simply insert the code below (include the curly brackets) into the top of the page or top of the section that needs maintenance. If it may not be clear to other editors exactly what needs doing, leave a note on the article's Talk page which you will find by clicking the 'discussion' tab.
Some of the templates have inline versions that add a short note as a superscript. These can be used where only a single sentence or paragraph needs attention. They are implemented by passing the parameter inline=yes to the template.
